Hello, My name is Mitchell Fowler. I am born and raised in the Okanagan. I began my photography journey in 2017. Photography first started out as a hobby but quickly became a passion of mine. I love creating stories with my portraits and capturing moments. Travel photography and street photography have quickly become my favourite forms of photography. These forms give me the ability to capture new and interesting things and also the unscripted moments.
I would always say to my friends I work 8 to 5. take photos. on repeat. I can now say I am in process of eliminating the 8 to 5 and just taking photos.
On my photographic journey I have gravitated more towards portraits. I have enjoyed telling peoples stories and creating stories through images. I used to enjoy writing stories but as I moved into photography I try to incorporate the story telling through the images I take. Another thing that I have loved to learn has been film photography. I enjoy how film photos look and there is nothing like getting a developed roll of film back. I am continually learning film photography and I am enjoying the process and happy to include film photography into my style.
